EVELINA HÄGGLUND 

Evelina Hägglund (b. 1992, Stockholm) lives and works in Stockholm. After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at AVA – Academy of Visual Arts in Ljubljana in 2018, she entered the Master of Fine Art programme at Goldsmiths, University of London, graduating in 2021. Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions internationally, including at Ståhl Collection, Sweden (2026); Kunstraum Niederösterreich, Austria (2025); Södertörn University, Sweden (2025); Golsa, Norway (2024); Parafin, UK (2023); Green Family Foundation, USA (2022); Nicoletti, UK (2022); Union Pacific, UK (2021); Saatchi Gallery, UK (2021); Kiribati National Museum, Tarawa, Kiribati (2019); Temporary Gallery, Germany (2016); and the Biennial of Graphic Arts, Museum of Modern Art, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2015). She has received grants and awards from the Swedish Arts Committee (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026); the Goethe-Institut (2023); Goldsmiths, University of London (Warden’s Award, 2021); the Fredrika Bremer Association Foundation (2020); the Sixten Gemzéus Foundation (2019); and the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts (2019, 2025), among others. In 2021, Hägglund completed a public commission for Plaza Protocol, curated by Tjaša Pogačar, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
